The SC500 Streetcatcher comes with an integrally cast computer machined front, and highly polished super quality cast aluminum body with anodized butterflies just like a real Enderle injector. With an application specific base adapter, air filter, filter adapter, carb butterfly linkage, along with stainless fasteners and anodized dummy barrel valve and 'linkage' that operates the butterflies from the standard double pumper universal side linkage on most Holley QFT or Demon Carburetors, you have the look of a blower fuel injector and the simplicity of a single 4BBL Carb . The Scoop comes with a Hi-Perf paper filter element but will accept a K&N air filter element part No E-3527 and XRP/Earls type performance plumbing type fittings or standard chrome aftermarket dual feeder fuel line . For that final touch the SC500 can also be ordered with an optional fuel injection hardline style fuel line setup, or for the early nostalgia style scoops you can order it with a larger Enderle style barrel valve (2"x2") and very early style side entry fuel hoses that were original on the very first Enderle Showerhead Bugcatchers (NOTE: You cannot use a standard type dual feeder with the hardline option). Larger barrel valve is optional on all models.

The SC500 STREETCATCHER is the lowest blower scoop in the world that bolts directly to 6/8/10/12/14-71 Superchargers like The Blower Shop, Hampton Blowers, Littlefield Blowers, Mooneyham Blowers, Blower Drive Service, Weiand Blowers and others. It has working butterflies, authentic style barrel valve, encloses a Double Pumper Carburetor inside with a unique filter adapter . Designed to enclose a 4150 series Squarebore single Holley, QFT (Quick fuel Technology) or Demon Double Pumper the SC500 STREETCATCHER comes complete with - Scoop Body assembly in Round or Geradot Style Barndoor Butterflies.

Many Holley Quick Fuel or Demon Double Pumpers come with no choke horn as supplied from the factory however some double pumper carburetors are available with chokes. If your carburetor has a choke, it needs to be removed for use with SC500 style enclosed carb STREETCATCHERS. This applies to Double Pumpers being used in the SC500 Series 6/8/10/12/14-71 Blower Scoop, also the SC500-177 used on the Holley/Weiand 142/144/174/177 series PowerCharger and Pro-Street superchargers and also the Holley/Weiand 250/256 mid sized blowers and The Blower Shop 192 Blowers.
BASIC CHOKE HORN REMOVAL
All you need to do is remove the 'choke horn' housing away from each side of the center boss and vent tubes by milling or cutting carefully with a hacksaw, and clean them up with a file or die grinder.
Cut the bowl vents
HOLLEY, AED, QUICK FUELS: (some are integrally cast or some have steel inserted tubes sticking up between the venturi's at the front and the back just inside the 5 1/8" neck diameter). The front Vent is OK if it is not over 1 3/4" high as measured from the carb neck surface (where an air cleaner would normally sit on) and the rear vent needs to be kept no taller than around 1 1/4' When you cut the vents make sure you angle the top about 45 degrees with the tallest part of the angle toward the center of the carb and the lowest part of the angle toward the bowls. DEMONS: On Demons all you need to do is lower the rear vent about 1/4"
Remember you will need to remove the front and rear bowls and put a rag in the top of the carbs to stop filings going down into the air bleeds etc.
If you are not confident to do this, any performance carburetor or competent machine shop could do this for you. It is a common and relatively small job.
PLASTIC ADAPTER
If you are intending using a Demon Carburetor please remember to state this when making an order because there is some slight clearancing needed on the black plastic adapter when used in the Demon application. If you are using a Demon Carb Click Here

HIGH FLOW K&N FILTER ELEMENT FOR THE SC500 STREETCATCHER
Although the paper air filter element supplied with the SC500 Streetcatcher works amazingly well, for high air flow when using the SC500 we recommend using a K&N Part Number E-3527 air filter element. This air filter element is only 1/2" wall and would flow a lot better than the supplied standard air filter element when used on strong street strip type engines.
It is not absolutey necessary however one thing you could to do is because the K&N element is a little floppy you can screw it to the Streetcatcher filter element adapter (re the pictures) this will maintain its shape and position when lowering the scoop body over the Carb/Filter.

The streetcatchers come with a dummy barrel valve block but now with the optional dummy hardlines that look just like the real ones Enderle, Good Vibes Racing and RBS Superchargers sell its even harder to tell you are running a carburetor inside the scoop.
Originally this option was offered with a 1" high spacer but now with a revised linkage system we can offer the SC500 with the hardlines and distribution block directly in the SC500 adapter plate, just like a real Enderle Injector has.
The Hardline Nuts and fittings can be ordered standard in Black or Blue, or for an additional stripping (of the fittings anodizing ) and re-anodizing cost you can order the butterflies blocks and fittings themed to the same color as your butterflies. Of course if you order black butterflies and black fittings the scoop will come themed out black at the standard price.
